Lagforce fabricates and installs stainless steel cladding for insulated pipework, vessels and mechanical equipment throughout Ireland. We provide a fitted protective finish for industrial and commercial installations where the project specification requires stainless steel.
A durable, cleanable finish for insulated services
Stainless steel cladding is the outer metal covering around the insulation. It offers a robust, cleanable surface while protecting the material beneath it. The complete system must still use insulation suited to the operating temperature and service conditions.
Applications include pipework, tanks, vessels, fittings and equipment in pharmaceutical, brewing, dairy and food-processing facilities. In clean-room or other controlled environments, material grade, finish and installation details need to follow the particular project requirements.
Fabricated around your pipework and equipment
We form sheet-metal cladding to suit straight pipe runs, bends, branches and equipment shapes. Dimensions, fixings and joints are considered alongside nearby services and maintenance access. Components that need regular servicing may require a different access arrangement, including suitable removable insulation covers.
Select the finish to suit the environment
The appropriate stainless steel grade and finish depend on the specification, exposure and cleaning conditions. Send us those requirements with your enquiry so the proposed cladding matches the installation. Where aluminium is suitable, our aluminium cladding service provides another protective finish.
New installations and replacement coverings
We provide stainless steel cladding with new pipework insulation packages and renew damaged coverings on existing plant. The condition of the underlying insulation needs to be considered before replacement cladding is fitted.
Lagforce works with mechanical contractors and facilities teams on industrial projects across Ireland, including plant room works and insulation refurbishment.
Discuss your stainless steel cladding requirements
Email the site location, photographs or drawings, approximate quantities and the specified metal grade and finish where available. Include the insulation specification, operating conditions, cleaning requirements and proposed programme. If a specification has not yet been provided, send the available information so we can discuss what is needed.
Is stainless steel always the best cladding option?
The right finish depends on the environment and specification. We discuss the requirements rather than recommending the same metal for every project.
Can you renew cladding on existing equipment?
Yes. Replacement work can be agreed after considering the condition of the installation, insulation and available access.
